In order for us to operate our web applications we need to record your name, email address, line manager address and work phone number. The system will also record any bookings you make or activity on the system. Some of these details will be available for your colleagues to view. This may also give an indication as to your whereabouts.
To comply with the Data Protection Act (1998) we must tell you how we use this data. Your permission is implied when you register for an account.
What is personal and sensitive data?
Personal data is data which can be used to identify you. This may include your name, date of birth, address, telephone number etc.
Sensitive data is information related to any of the following: racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, trade union membership, health, sexuality or sex life, offences and/or convictions. We do not store any sensitive data about you.
Where will you store my data?
The data will be stored on our central storage repository which is located on secure servers in the UK.
Can I withhold my consent?
Yes, we will not record your information unless you register for an account. If you terminate your account your personal data is deleted however historical booking and activity data will be retained.
We will not share your information with anyone else without your consent, unless required to do so by law.
